Hey Wonderful Mother of Mine,
So first off this was an amazing week for sure, me and Elder Bagonbon had such a successful week for us two this week we just keep finding and finding new investigators its like we are just getting them handed to us, but we are doing our best to really bring these people unto Christ, I really am enjoying my everyday endeavors as a missionary, it really is the best, by the way tell Uncle Matt and Aunt Licia that their letter is on the way and that expect it pretty soon don't know when, but I still don't know their address, so if you could send that too me and that would be very wonderful!! So just like everyday business, me and Elder Bagonbon are very happy missionaries, yes very happy missionaries!! We this week had interviews with President DeLaMare, and that was a very enjoyable time, really enjoy being in that man's presence, you really can know that he has been called of God to help this mission really progress as it has and to eventually have this district to become a stake, we have been told multiple and multiple times that our district here in Morong really can become a stake we just need to push forward and do our best to find those Priesthood Holders that are less-active or if we have very potential investigators as such, we can really bring these people unto Christ and to receive that blessing as a newly formed stake!! Our district has a very big desire to become a stake so we really need you guys to pray for us here to eventually become a stake, I know it can happen here. So like always just loving my life as a missionary, love being a district leader, its sometimes very stressful, but its totally worth it its a blessing actually if you really think about it!!! So first off happy to know that Addy is following the Prophet's council Addy I love you so much!! Anyways Ed and NG sound like they are doing very well and still loving life, Ed keep going huh??
So anyways me and Elder Bagonbon are really loving our investigators, this week we should be able to really find more and more, we have a lot of investigators 2 of which are really progressing we had a 3rd on, but Sister Malinao, our investigator, moved just a little bit outside of our area so we are not allowed to go to her, uHHH gotta love sudden moves!! We were able to assist her and her family move, brother also listens, but its really sister, shes GOLD!!!, but now has moved to a different area, I'll send you guys some pictures!!! We are really trying to work with 2 of our investigators Nanay Roxas as well as Ferlin Arabit to baptism, the problem is here is right now our church is being renovated, so the closest chapel is over 40 minutes away, but jeep and well we have a lot of people in our area that do not have the money to do that, but yet they always seem, right after interviews this last Thursday, we went to the Roxas family, they weren't there, we then proceeded to Ferlin and guess what Nanay Roxas was there, we taught both of the about the Atonement of Jesus Christ and that we can show our love for him by following our commandments, last Sunday they both came to church was very happy!! I'm telling you guys the Spirit really does work on the hearts of the children of men!! I love you all I have a lot of good stuff coming my way this week, just keep those prayers coming!!

Hello Wonderful Mother of Mine,
Ok so I will actually be able to talk with President DeLaMare about that and see what I should do this week we have Zone Interviews so that's going to be so amazing for that actually its almost like perfect timing!! So anyways this has been an crazy week alright, we had a lot of crazy stuff happen this week. Me and Elder Bagonbon had a lot of great and also some crazy experiences, will tell you some of the funny ones first hahahah!!! Anyways first off this week on Friday, we had the apartment couples come by our house, the Enderles, and after they came by we decided to really try and keep our house, cockroach free, so what we did is that we have seen that most of the cockroaches that come into our house come from underneath the sink and so we decided to really and set the poison in there. So while we are spraying the poison, talk about cockroach have there was just millions of them and we were just all 4 of us in the house killing these things since, the cockroaches here can also bite here, so we were really careful, in the end we had fun killing cockroaches, in total, as a house just from under our sink we killed 76 cockroaches fully grown, and big!!! It was pretty fun, but that's not as important, as our spiritually experience, we have a less-active family, Hilario family, whose daughter was going to be baptized, and the crazy thing is the day she was going to be baptized, was Sunday and what happened was during our personal study, the Hilario family texted us saying that Marjorie, their daughter was very sick and had been throwing up a lot lately, so they asked us if we could come and give her a blessing, so what we did was yes we went to give a blessing, as we did, we asked them all to have faith and to pray constantly that she will be ready and be able to be baptized later that day. While we were waiting at church they came in and later after sacrament, talked to them and they said that she will be able to be baptized, we were very happy and Marjorie was baptized so I'm really happy and it was overall an amazing week.
So this area is going really well we are just really struggling with bring our investigators to church, since our church is being renovated at this time and since our area is a very poor as well rich area we are really having a hard time getting them to church since, the church we go to Angono chapel is so far away really the only people that come are the ones that can afford to come and that's very hard for us since that's the biggest problem for us, but me and Elder Bagonbon are really going to be focused on teaching the law of sacrifice to our investigators, so that's what we will be focusing on this week. Anyways that's really I got for all of you guys this week sorry, but for that I have a lot of pictures for you guys. Anyways tell everyone I said hi this week, and miss them all dearly funny thing is I get to see Elder McDonald only on DL training that's it last transfer it was every Sunday, anyways love you all tons Elder Thompson love you!

Kumusta po kayo(How are you please)??
Hey everybody this has been an very interesting week for me we had a big change in our zone and our district. We have a lot of new missionaries in our zone, actually 3 and guess what 2 of them our in my district them being sisters, we had a very new area just open there, and the cool thing is that Elder Basalo remember him?, is one of the first 4 missionaries to step into that area, its pretty sweet, so the thing is that we now have the biggest zone in the whole mission, yes even bigger than the Mindoro zone, anyways we have a ton of Filipinos in our zone now funny fact is that we have 3 Filipinos in my house, so yep my new companion, is Filipino, wahoo!!! Funny thing is Elder Tipene is now comps with Elder Braind, my 6th comp, and my companion was just with Elder Braind so we just did a little switcheraroo, anyways my companion is Elder Bagonbon, from Dipolog City, Mindinao, so hes from the scarier parts of the Philippines. Anyways so im still the District leader, and yes its going to be cool this transfer, we had last transfer nothing but foreigners in mt district now its nothing, but Filipinos hahaaha its funny so now i'l' have to do my workshops in Tagalog, that's going to be really fun, also still learning a lot of Tagalog, its good having nothing, but Filipinos in the house.
Anyways we are really having a great progression with our branch we have been really making progress with all of the things, we even have home and visiting teaching going now so we will see how that goes here pretty soon, really think it will bring back a lot of people, really excited, about this and how the work will progress as well, we will see, me and Elder Bagonbon, are ready and willing to do whatever we can to have this area progress, and see how it goes with everything. We are really enjoying this area we are going to have so much progression, we just need people to act by their faith even though the church is over 30 minutes away I know that they can do it and so does the Lord we are trying our best this week I know we are going to have an amazing week!!!
Good to know that Jed still out there and giving his all that what I'm talking about, can't wait to see all the guys after the missions, its going to be amazing, anyways really excited about that stuff I honestly haven't prayed about where I need to go for school that's a kasalanan(fault) on my part anyways, tell everyone I say hi and that I need people to write to me and guess what I'm writing back yes hahahaha, I hate not getting letters on mail run talk about heart attack!! Anyways love you all and miss you tons!!

Also, had an amazing New Years here in Binangonan, we have a municipal, just right by our house and they just had the best fireworks show, sorry totally owned Arizona, Arizona kinda stinks at firework shows no offense!!
Had an amazing countdown as well, which was pretty sweet had a great time, also as soon as it ended me and Elder Tipene, just bolted through the rice field right by our house, problem was, we didn't get really far, we got stuck in mud heheheeh, luckily I was wearing only flip-flops, hahahaah nothing beats than getting stuck in mud in a rice field on New Years hahahaha, anyways this was an amazing week and we found out today, that 7 members in our zone are going tomorrow, so our entire zone will be at transfers tomorrow, you said that there is someone you and I know coming to my mission here soon right?? Hey magandang hapon po sa inyo lahat(good afternoon to you all)!!!
Everybody another great and marvelous week for me and Elder Tipene, lots of things we learned this week that will definitely I'll keep in the mission for the rest of my life!!! We had an amazing week this week and guess what were gonna have another great and marvelous week again everybody!!! So good news I'll be getting the package before Christmas so I'm pretty happy about that!! So me and Elder Tipene had a very exciting week for sure, we didn't have a lot of lessons, but we had an amazing week finding new investigators, this week we had Zone conference and that week, President DeLaMare, announced our new focus in our mission which is finding new investigators and bringing them to our Heavenly Father, back into his fold!!!
So this week me and Elder Tipene went a little hunting for the lost sheep and we didn't have anything for a whole hour, then as we were walking we just said a little "Magandang Hapon po(good afternoon am)" to an old nanay(mother), and from that since she saw us in shirts and ties, she said that "You have something for me to read?" So we started talking to her and as we were, her kabahay(housemate) another old nanay(mother), she asked for one of the Restoration pamphets, also as always being the amazing comp he is Elder Tipene, starts talking with another family just standing and watching us, thy actually we were able to go to them this last week, they are a full Baptist family and love their Bible studies, but were willing to listen to our message, the cool thing about all of this is that they have a little girl who is only 10 years old and is reading the Bible, she is now in Leviticus, asked her a few questions and knew all of them, was very surprised myself, so anyways we set another time that we could come and visit with them, so back to tracting that whole day we didn't get any lessons in, but we were able to in that time to, find 9 potential investigators, 4 of them being full families, so in my eyes it was a pretty successful day for us two even though we didn't teach any we will though be contacting them tomorrow, so tomorrow will be the day of reckoning. Really excited for this coming week, tomorrow we have a FHE evening with our Branch Mission Leader, JC and his parents, Wednesday we will be going to our Branch President's house, President Soriano, then we also have this week Christmas Conference, as well as our Branch Christmas Party, and Temple Tour with Christmas lights!!!! So excited for this week its going to be so amazing, might even see all of the people, that were baptized in Quezon City 1st Ward after I left!!!:) Anyways I loved this week and it was so amazing, we didn't get a lot of lessons this week, but we did our best that's what counts. I love this area, we are starting to really pick-up here in this area, really enjoy my District, the sisters are amazing, last Friday did my first Baptismal interview, yea I was freaking nervous, but felt like that she has that testimony to continue on in this gospel, overall another amazing week, love the elders in my district, or my kabahays(housemates) they are the best!! I love being a District leader, especially the fact I'm the only district leader that has more than 4 in his district. Overall amazing life as a missionary!!! I LOVE IT!!!! Mahal kita(Love)

Magandang Hapon po sa inyo lahat(good afternoon please you all),
Hey everybody, me and Elder Tipene had an another amazing week. I will be calling you guys around that time don't worry, about 7:00 or 8:00, but my comps time is different from ours so I'm going to go with one of the elders in my house, who is from Utah so that it won't cause any problems.Yes I was alone for about 30 minutes, but that was on a jeep at 4 in the morning, and then I met one of the other district leaders in our zone so it wasn't to bad, went with all of the DL's in our zone together, its a lot easier, and yes we have permission to do that, from President, don't worry I'm a missionary the Lord is with me to protect me!!! ED is just in the same position as I was, now its his time to shine, and do better than I did he has a lot more potential than all the rest of us at that kind of stuff, sorry NG "YOU JUS A LIL GUY", hahahaah joke lang(just joke), anyways I'll write ED and NG a lil something something. Anyways I wanna see some pics of Ed's Winter Formal, and confirm he is more gwapo(handsome) than me hahahaa!!! I hope he flashed the Filipino gwapo(handsome) sign at least once!!! Also we just got an announcement that in our zone a new group will be starting in our mission, and eventually become a branch!, as you can see that the work is going as he said in the Standard of Truth, "No unhallowed hand can stop the work from progressing". We just love hearing announcements like that in our mission!!! With the switch in our mission we are just really focusing on finding more investigators, and building the kingdom of God. So what I have been doing to progress, is now I'm really trying to finish the Doctrine and Covenants again, as well as at least the New Testament before I hit the road and come home!!!, as well as always read the Book of Mormon, I just love reading the scriptures, if I don't have anything to do, I read the scriptures, yea doesn't sound like me before the mission did it? Whenever I don't have anything to do I read, what the??
So anyways I forgot my password so I want you guys to make me a new one so I sent the thing to you guys to were you change my password then next week just tell me my new password, if you could!! I can't think of it, if you just send me a new password it would be fine, sorry about the problems, but I will be writing it down in my planner so that it won't go forgotten again!!! Sorry talaga (really)!!! Its weird to realize, but I'm an old man in the mission and now is the time to shine!! We don't really tract in our area, its not very effective, especially the fact that our areas are very poor, but we are doing our best to O.Y.M people to talk to them on the street and find those part-member families so that we can better get less-actives to church as well as all of their family become members. We are having so much success, with our areas and we are really doing our best to keep ourselves going and focused, I love this area no not because its province, but because it has a lot of potential that no one ever has seen, I see a lot of potential in this area especially our investigators, we have a few a baptismal date so we are trying to increase this number, a lot of them with a baptismal date are just pure gold!!! Yesterday we went to one of our investigators, Sister Diverly, we were teaching the Gospel of Christ, and while we were teaching got to Baptism, she asked what does she need to do to be baptized?? We then explained she needs to do her best to receive a witness, from the Holy Ghost, shared to her from Moroni 10:4-5 how we need to do our best to follow, by faith, and do the things that he has commanded us to do, she then said the thing that I just proved to me she is just a gold investigator!! She then said these words "Elders I'm really looking for the truth and I want to know, when I go to church, I want to go to church, for me not because you 2 told me to" SHE'S GOLD!!! I'm so grateful to be able to harvest in this area its an amazing area, I will see so much progression in this area!!! I love it!! I love you all, sorry about the lil problems with my skype!! I love you all, and will be looking forward to you guys calling!!! MAHAL NA MAHAL KITA (LOVE TO LOVE YOU)

Magandang Hapon po sa aking pamilya (Good afternoon please my family),
Hey everybody this week was a very memorable one for me and my new companion, Elder Tipene. He's such an amazing companion, he has already taught me a lot of good stuff. One thing I have already learned is that when we plan we need to think actually to who we will go to since in our area its so stinking huge, we literally walk 20 minutes to get to every house not just next door like in Quezon City. Its a bit of challenge at first this week especially, but now I think I'm getting the hang of it, Elder Tipene is really helping me a lot and what we are doing is finding a lot of Less-actives as well as new investigators, while we are trying to find those less-actives. I was just as surprised as you guys were when I was called. Also got to go to District Leader training meeting this week. Got to talk with Elder Carpentero, my last district leader, he told me that all of the baptisms that we planned the Saturday I left, they all were baptized WAHOO!!! It was amazing to be able to hear that I felt even though I wasn't there I still was!! Lots of good experiences I get to experience. Like this week waking up at 4:00 in the morning to get to the mission home for the meeting at 9:00. Yea riding a jeep by myself was kinda scary, but really it wasn't to bad I'm just glad that I actually got on the right jeep, if I didn't I could be in a different place and yes that is how far away my area is from the mission home, we have to get up at 4:00 its amazing being separated from the city, just when I'm on top of the mountains and see all the fog and pollution I left in Quezon City. Its beautiful in this area we have a really great branch, we just need to build it up even more.
So anyways we are really doing a really good job in this area, the thing we need to do in this area is to really build the peoples faith in this area. The church in our branch is being renovated, right now so we have to go to the chapel in Angono, which is actually in another zone, the TayTay zone hey been there before. Its so far away from our area so we have a really hard time with the members coming to church, mostly the investigators and the less-actives. What our main focus is right now is all of the less-actives as well as our more richer investigators, who can afford to go to the chapel since it is so far away. Full honesty its very hard to get people, but promising blessings is really been blessing us we have been able to have more come, we are doing our best, its just that stinking money!, but we are really doing our best to build the people to were they will put their faith in the Lord and come and not worry about the money, we know the Lord will provide, we just need them to do their part. Honestly this area will really put my skills to the test on everything I have learned in my mission. I know it will be hard, but I always remember, just actually we talked about this in District meeting earlier today. What we did at DL training was President DeLaMare, asked us as DL's to write a picture of what we wanted to have our district be like. I drew a redwood tree!! ?? I thought of that tree as well as a tumbleweed, yes had to get some of that Arizonan fever in there. Discussed earlier, that as a tree we are strong and come all adversity, but if we are a tumbleweed, we just go with everything. I addressed to our district that to accomplish the goals that we have set as missionaries is do our best and to overcome adversity, and be a redwood tree, and not a tumbleweed!!! Sweet right?? I love the district I'm in, the sisters are so stinking amazing, not just because 2 of them are the only 2 sisters that came with me here to the Philippines, but because the sisters are just fireballs!!! I love the elders in the district as well they are awesome, and I also live with them!! The work is moving on and we are doing our best to bring these people to the waters of baptism and eventually the temple!!! I love being a missionary its such an amazing experience!!! Wouldn't give this up for anything. I love you guys and miss all of your mga mukhas (faces)!!! I love you ALL!!!
