 Hey everybody!!!,

So this week another great week serving the Lords here in the TayTay 1st Ward in the TayTay Rizal!!! I love this ward and the members so much its so fun serving here I love the people here they are so helpful in helping the work carry on here. So yea ill answer some of those questions. All of my stuff is fine, the Rockports are still going strong they are soo freaking strong. I have never used the sandals we are not allowed to use sandals working so yea I dont want to get rid of them because they were so freaking expensive. Also I dont use that huge bag anymore it was to freaking huge to lug around so I just got a new shoulder bag, but ill be trading it for a backpack cause my shoulders just get too sore from having that thing hang on me. I prefer the backpacks anyway work better for me. Ill just be trading the shoulder bag I use now for a new backpack pretty happy. I dont have the huge bag anymore it was just taking too much space I understand it was 20 dollars, but I dont really count on that staying with me the whole mission just takes up too much space, better that thing than my sandals which were freaking expensive im pretty sure, the slip on shoes I also had died sadly:( I have a new pair though, in my last area Elder Esteves had a pair that he didnt ever use just came up to me before I left just said here now I have another pair of shoes. All my white shirts are doing great alot more easier to clean with just mesh garments they are still white though. In the package yea I would just do oreos and beef jerky I love that stuff!!! REMEMBER TO USE THE NEW ADDRESS I MIGHT NOT GET IT IF YOU DONT SEND IT THERE!!!! Tell this too other people too I havent got mail for 4 weeks now. I found a way to write to people , and yet keep the schedule. Already sent some letters to people so i better get some back or si Elder Thompson ay magiging malungkot!!!:(PANGET YUN!!! Yes I even said it in Tagalog. So I dont want soup mixes or packages i love the food here just not the snacks except for fish/squid crackers mmm!!!

Now on too the great week we have had me and Elder Gallacher wahoo!!! So first I do have good news that the girl Jennifer the one that we promised would eventually be healed and her family would not go hungry. Yesterday found out that she is doing very well and that the family as well are now not going hungry and that Jennifer will in due time be healed. Found out from our bishop that she is doing really and that it was tuberculosis that was causing her to be like she was!! She will be released from the hospital this week and we will be able to visit them WAHOO!!! Im so happy yesterday that I just wanted to just scream I was so happy!!! Yesterday we had 4 less-actives become active again and we also were able to find alot of new investigators!!! One of our investigators, Charee Balingit, is awesome pretty much first time we taught her asked how she could be baptized in the church. Her boyfriend is actually the bishop's son hahahaahah!! We got a great fellowshipper in her as well as a girl one for when he goes on his mission, he has got to be prepared right?Ganoon ba? This week I just had a blast this area is amazing here I love it here its beautiful as well as amazing. Just another week of being a servant of the Lord here in the Philippines, its such a humbling experience I couldnt of been more happy to be able to serve these people for 2 years. I love my mission, my companion, Elder Gallacher, I love my area its amazing, I love this people!!!! I love you guys so much keep going the Lord will continue to bless us as we continue to live his commandments I love you guys!!!

Love his new area!!!!
Hey everybody!!!

So today was such a great week my first real week in my new area!! This area is so freaking amazing the bishopric and the members are so strong and willing to do anything to help with bringing back the less-actives I mean anything which I will talk about more later in my letter. So also we have a bunch of investigators and less-actives we teach everyday we have a whole area for a day. Our area is pretty huge and we separate it into s littler areas for each day. They are called Golden City, Havier, and Muzon!! So I really love it here since like I said in my last letter we are the only elders in the ward so it makes it a whole lot easier. We get some members to work with us which is amazing.

So this week we had a amazing week just to let it be known we were able to have 23 less-actives come to church yesterday WAHOOO!!! That's a start of the fruit of our labors. So in our area we have a somewhat mix-up of rich/squatters. Just to let it be known the house of our bishop is even bigger than our house back home I was so amazed especially the fact that I have been only in the really super poor areas, it was a big surprise let me tell you. Also just too let it known since I'm talking about the bishop's house, I was able to eat something else that's a little weird, this week I was able to eat some CROCODILE!!! Yes I ate them crocs eh! It was so good no fat whatsoever just lean, super good food!!! Also we have a lot of nice province looking areas mostly in the Havier area. We actually have a mountain that we can climb and see all of Quezon City and just look at the nasty clouds of pollution just sitting around it bleh!! Makes me happy to be able to be out of there and actually get some fresh air I'm really needing it to maybe clear out my lungs a little I don't know!! So we actually had a freaking great experience this week with 2 of our less-actives one of them her name is Marites Gotera. Sister Gotera has had a hard time with life actually last transfer before I came here. Elder Gallacher told me that her husband was actually killed in a motorcycle accident last transfer and she just lost it. We are actually able to go to her and she has attended 3 weeks in a row now shes so strong even though that her husband died shes still going strong we try to visit her as often as we can with members to keep her going and to forget that tragic event. We also have a less-active called the Pesebre family which is the parents and three of their kids are members out of the five. The tatay(dad) is actively going to church, but the wife and kids are not why, well ill tell you we had such a great experience with them!! We taught them this week and the reason they don't attend except for the dad is that one of the daughters, Jennifer is bed-ridden she has been battling a disease she doesn't know what it is for over 12 years since she was 5 years old that is why she wasn't baptized. The only thing that she has been using is the cheap pain-killers that her family can afford, sometimes the family goes hungry, because of this but, I have yet to hear one complaint from any of the kids. That's why I'm so impressed with the people here especially those that aren't the richest people. The family is willing to go hungry for days just so that she, Jennifer is not in pain!! This week that all changed, we visited them twice this week, and talked to our bishopric if they could possibly could visit them, before we left them the first time, me and Elder Gallacher gave Jennifer a blessing that she will overcome all and that she will be healed and that her family will overcome all!! Yesterday we went to go visit them, but actually stopped to see our bishopric coming out of the house, talked to them and they said that we will have a immediate ward council meeting, to talk about our struggling members. We had it yesterday after church and right off the back talked about what we are going to do to help them. Then the bishop announced that he will be dropping 5,000 pesos to help that family and Jennifer go to a real hospital, and get the real medicine and to be able to know whats killing her. Every person in the ward council except use of course said the will be willing to drop some money to help that family not only with their daughter, but so that they also get to eat real food!!! I cannot describe how blessed it was to see how much the members here really do care about their members enough to drop money for them when them themselves are actually not as rich as some there, but were still willing. This ward is so amazing here I honestly really want to stay here a long time really hoping!!! I will tell you more about this in my next email and the situation. I'm telling you guys the Lord does work miracles around the world, and I'm so happy to be able to experience these things as a servant of him here in the Quezon City Philippines mission. I'm loving life, my companion is out of this world I'm happy to be able to be in this area with him two seasoned missionaries in a huge area really excited for this transfer I love you guys!!!

Hey everybody!!!

So Elder Thompson is a very happy missionary right now!!! I'm finally transferred into the province WAHOOO!!! I finally got out of the city and now I'm in a tropical paradise!!! I'm not on Mindoro,  but its almost as good I'm still pretty happy!!! My new area now is located in the TayTay Zone,, my new area is called the Taytay 1st ward!!! Its city plus province so I'm pretty freaking happy. We have a part of our area that's in the city, but we also have a part in our area where its actually has a couple of mountains and we actually can get a good view of the city where I came from. I just laugh when I see it and that huge dark cloud of pollution right over it hahahaah!!! I'm charging my camera right now so i couldn't get any pictures but i will send some  to you guys once its fully charged. So your also probably wondering who my new companion is also my new companion is actually the companion of one of my older companions in the field Elder Webster hhahahaha who would've thought that I would be companions with 2 guys from my zone in the MTC its freaking hilarious. Hes only a transfer ahead of me just like my first co-senior companion, Elder Webster. Also another funny thing is that Elder Burgan was actually assigned here when he first trained his first trainee Elder Barba. Hahahaaha how funny would it be to also train here like him hahahahaahahah!!

So another thing that is about this area is its just me and Elder Gallacher in the ward, hahahaha we are roommates with the elders  in the other ward that use our chapel as well. Our church starts at 2 o clock in the afternoon which a freaking long time.!!! The ward here is freaking awesome though in my last area the average lessons a day we would get is maybe 2 but here we usually are busy 12 o clock till 9 in the night just freaking busy all the time. I LOVE IT!!!! This area is great lots of ward missionaries work with us a lot of them returned missionaries its awesome, the bishopric is great especially the bishop, funniest guy I have ever met so far on my mission. The ward is great and I'm really excited to be here, Tagalog is coming along have got alot of compliments on mine, some saying Elder Thompson is fluent which we all know not to be true, but I will take it. Just going to really enjoy this area I can tell, its freaking huge too so it might take me a  while to get used to it all, but ill do my best. I love you guys and will send you guys some picture for sure next week!!!! I love you mom!!!

Dear Wonderful Mother of Mine,

Hey I was actually writing this week what I'm going to need in that package is probably going to be chocolate anything chocolate cause most of the stuff I can get here. I am also going to need some floss picks they are the ones that are very good and probably going to need some of those as well. Garments wise I really don't need any I have decided though that when I cant use my dry lux garments anymore Ill just get some from the temple cause they have the ones I need I have decided that I'm going to just use the mesh garments just cause they work for me better than the dry lux I sweat alot and they just soak up the sweat whereas the mesh actually let me have sort of an air conditioning its a lot better for me. Will buy those as soon as my dry lux are gone some are yellow in the pits and I can get it out but soon I wont so ill have too keep going but don't worry don't need money for that. Also if you can send me like in an album maybe picture of the day before I left with friends and family and such like in a lil book cause I need alot more pics don't have alot hahaahah. Other than that that's all I will need just send me whatever you think that you will need to send me other than the chocolate and floss that's all I need chocolate is super expensive here. Also the pictures and that's pretty much it. If you want you can send me mesh garments I don't know when I will need them honestly, but I know soon.  Anyways so I have some big newss!!!

I'M TRANSFERRING WAHHHH!!! I'm gone going to another area again after being here for 18 weeks I'm going:( Also Elder Wilde is also going to transfer ahahahah Elder Esteves is going to be here for more than 3 transfers hahahaha I have very high hopes for Mindoro cause they are having 4 elders coming off it so really hoping for there, but I will be happy anywhere. Definitely going to miss this area I have had the great opportunity to reactivate some less-actives it really is a great opportunity. One baptism only, but that's better that you bring one soul unto Christ than none. Really going to miss Rowel hes freaking awesome I hope he will continue to stay active and to eventually serve a mission like I am. Going to miss Elder Braind, but hes a great person to leave this area too. He will continue to do work here and hopefully have Kevin baptized on the 16th will continue to talk to him hes awesome really enjoyed the 6 weeks I have had to be with him. Also still going to keep my streak going new companion every transfer ahahahahah!!! Tomorrow I will go and will be in my new area I will tell you guys where I will be. Hopefully in a tropical paradise or just back into the city the only 2 things that can happen. I love you mother other than what I have said I'm also very to sad to see that 2 really great friends of mine have also gone to the other side, but I know they can now rest in Heavenly Fathers presence. Tell Brother Ray I really do appreciate all the letters and also tell Brother Perez that I'm trying to be as good as he is, but we do play basketball as much as we can but not too much. Also tell Tyler, Hudson and Holden as well I would love to hear from them. Elder Wilde actually is from Sacramento and says he might know Tyler cause he did a mini mission in the Sacramento mission so ask him that and tell them 3 to write me and I will write them back I have wrote to 3 elders in my district in the Laoag mission Elder Sione, Elder Parker, and Elder McDonald want to know how they're doing and I have figured a way to write people as well as do all I do on P-Day. Have also wrote to some of the members and my recent converts in Quezon City 3rd Ward. I have been trying to write all those back, but it might be a while, but I'm trying. Today should be super busy. I love you guys and miss you tons hope you guys have a great week miss you all!!!!
